Hillcat Men's Basketball Tenth Again

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Despite a 1-1 week the Rogers State Hillcats held steady at No. 10 in the latest NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released Monday.


RSU remained at No. 10 despite a mix up amongst four teams in the top 10. Oklahoma Baptist remained at No. 1 for the second consecutive week as the Sooner Athletic Conference foe received 10 first place votes and enters the SAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed with a record of 26-3.


John Brown (23-7) returned to the No. 13 spot after spending last week at No. 15. Rounding out SAC teams in the top 25 is Southern Nazarene (21-9) at No. 23 as no other conference teams received votes.


Shorter (Ga.) remained at the second with two of of the 12 first place votes Southern Poly (Ga.) moved from fifth to third while Robert Morris (Ill.) and Concordia (Calif.) tied at fourth.

Rogers State (22-7, 15-7) is gearing up for the SAC Tournament which tips on Thursday as the Hillcats take on Oklahoma Christian with a 4:30 p.m. start time. Live, free audio streaming will be provided at www.rsuhillcats.com/live.
