Hillcat Bobblehead Giveaway Set for Saturday

The first 200 fans in attendance at Saturday's softball and baseball games will receive a free Hillcat Bobblehead.

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State athletic department is bringing a fan favorite to the Hillcat Complex as the first 200 fans at Saturday’s softball and baseball games will receive a collector’s edition Hillcat Bobblehead decked in RSU Baseball and Softball attire free.

Saturday’s pair of doubleheader, conference contests marks the final chance for fans to witness both teams playing on the same day this season at the Hillcat Complex. Softball will kick things off at 1 p.m. as they face No. 3-ranked Oklahoma City. The Diamond Cats will face Mid-America Christian on Senior Day with first pitch at 2 p.m.

The bobbleheads are made of polyresin and are hand sculpted and painted. Each seven inch tall statue of Hunter the Hillcat in a RSU baseball/softball uniform comes in a custom designed collector’s box.

The giveaway will be the second opportunity for Hillcat fans to pick up this year’s edition of the bobblehead as a select number were given away during the basketball season.

A limited number of bobbleheads will be available for purchase following Saturday’s promotion. They are valued at $15 and can be purchased through the athletic department during regular business hours.
