Hillcats Ranked No. 5 in SAC Women's Soccer Poll

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State Hillcats are picked to finish fifth according to the Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll released Friday.

The Cats received 37 votes after finishing with a 10-7-3 record in 2011 going 6-4-1 in conference play.

Oklahoma City is picked to successfully defend its Sooner Athletic Conference women’s soccer title. OCU, which has won the last two regular season crowns, received seven of nine first-place votes and finished with 63 points.

The Drovers of USAO got the remaining two first-place votes for 58 points.

Oklahoma Baptist was third with 45 points, followed by John Brown with 40 and RSU with 37. Mid-America Christian is sixth in the poll with 34 points, Lubbock Christian is seventh at 24, Wayland Baptist eighth at 14 and St. Gregory’s is ranked ninth with nine points.
