Harris Named SAC Women's Soccer Defender of the Week
CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State’s Jordan Harris has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 17-23 the league office announced Monday.
Harris, a junior goalkeeper from Claremore, Okla., had 10 saves in two games. She had three saves in 75 minutes of action against Friends and went the distance for a shutout over Missouri Valley, picking up seven saves, including a diving stop that kept MVC from taking the lead at that point.
Oklahoma City University’s Allison Worsham, a freshman forward from Edmond, Okla., had a goal in all three OCU wins on the week as she was named SAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. She had two each against Texas Wesleyan and Our Lady of the Lake and one against Houston-Victoria. She also had an assist against TWU for 11 points on the week. Her goal against UH-V was an overtime game-winner.
