Felipe Named SAC Runner of the Week

Shawnee, Okla.- Rogers State cross country runner Brenda Felipe has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The sophomore from Poteau, Okla., was 117th in a field of NCAA Division I athletes at the University of Arkansas Chili Pepper Festival. She completed the six-kilometer course in 23:19. This is the second time this season she has been named conference runner of the week.

The Hillcat men’s and women’s cross country team will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Winfield, Kan. for the NAIA Mid-State Classic hosted by Southwestern College.
