Heritage Hills Golf Course
Heritage
Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole championship public golf course located one mile
west of the Rogers State University campus. The par 71 (men)/ par 72 (women)
course plays up to 6,750 yards. With a mixture of hilly and flat terrain the
Donald Sechrest designed layout provides golfers with a challenging course
featuring water hazards on 15 of the 18 holes. Opened on July 1, 1977, HHGC’s
classical architecture gives reward to well played golf shots with Penncross
Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways, tees and surrounding areas. With a short
game practice facility, practice green and driving range, Heritage Hills offers
players ample area to improve their game.

Golf Club
Cherokee Hills Golf Club located in Catoosa, Okla. just 15
miles from campus was voted No. 4 by Golfweek in “Courses You Can Play” in the
state of Oklahoma in 2011. Designed by renowned golf architect Perry Maxwell in
1924, the course was recently redesigned by Tripp Davis has proven to be one of
the most beautiful and challenging courses in the state. A true challenge for
the most accomplished golfer, Cherokee Hills beckons golfers to traverse
tree-lined fairways, dramatic elevation changes, demanding bent grass greens,
natural rock outcroppings and babbling brooks. With a short game facility and
driving range, the par 70, 6,635 yard course provides Hillcat golfers another
challenge.
Scissortail Golf
Club
Scissortail Golf Club located in Verdigris, Okla. just eight miles
from the Rogers State campus offers a unique 18-hole course designed by Randy
Heckenkemper. The par 71 course features Tift-Sport Bermuda grass fairways and
tee boxes, A-1 Bent Grass greens and all white silica sand bunkers. The 6,701
yard design opened in 2006 and gives Hillcat golfers a challenging course to
test their skills. Scissortail features practice putting greens and chipping
areas, and a driving range facility.
