Owens enters his final season with the Hillcats as one of the most decorated Hillcat golfers in the program’s short four year history. He holds the record for most individual titles with two including a playoff victory at the Sen. Eddie Lucio Invitational as he carded a two-under par 142 in his junior season. Owens has played in a total of 27 tournaments averaging a score of 75.75 in 64 rounds. In his three previous seasons, Owens has tallied 11 rounds at par or better with one round in the 60’s. He said he chose RSU because “it is the toughest conference in the NAIA.”
