About: Burrell played in 29 contests for the Hillcats during his freshman season. As a senior at Valliant High School in 2009-10, Burrell averaged 18 points, eight assists and four rebounds. He earned conference MVP honors in both his junior and senior seasons. Burrell received all-state, all-region and OBCA all-star recognition as a senior. Burrell said he chose RSU because “of the coaches, players and the way they run their program. They were also known as one of the best in the nation and I wanted to be a part of that.”
