About: Iwamoto returns for her second season at RSU after posting bests of 2:28 in the 800m and 5:28 in the 1500m as a freshman in 2011. She joined the Hillcats after an excellent high school career at Union High School. Natalie ran in the state meet all three years of her prep career for coach Mike Stanton. As a senior she received the “Team Leader” award and ran a two-mile time of 13:17. Iwamoto said she was drawn to RSU “by the small class size and sense of community.”
