About: Apolinar returns for her sophomore season after finishing second on the team as freshman in 2011 and placing 18th at the SAC Championship.She came to the Hill from Mineral Wells, Texas where she earned team MVP honors and was a regional qualifier her senior year where her best time was 12:20. She was named team MVP as a junior and was a regional qualifier her sophomore year. Apolinar said she chose RSU because “it gave me a good opportunity to become somebody in our society.”
