About: Cornwell returns after earning NAIA All-American honorable mention honors, SAC Defensive Player of the Year and
All-SAC First Team honors in her first season on the Hill. She set the single-season steal record, nabbing 117 steals. She
joined RSU in 2011-12 after spending the previous two seasons at Connors State College, playing under Head Coach Eddie
Kite. Sierra earned second team all-conference honors the previous two seasons. She averaged eight steals as a sophomore
as she helped lead Connors State to a conference championship. Sierra claims she can make the best angry face.
Cornwell said she chose RSU because “of the campus, coaches and players on the team.”
