BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Rogers State women's golf punched their ticket to the NCAA Division II National Championship with a third place finish on the final day of the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships on Wednesday.
 
After 54 holes at the par 72, 5,921 yard Hillcrest Country Club, the Hillcats finished in third with a card of 907 (+43). As one of the top three teams in the tournament, RSU advances to play in the National Championship for the third time in four years.
 
Lydia Sitorus put together three outstanding rounds to capture the individual title with a total card of 214 (-2) and individual rounds of 72 (E), 71 (-1) and 71 (-1). She is the first Hillcat to win a regional championship since Jessica Green won in 2021. The junior from Bitung, Indonesia managed to sink eight birdies and an eagle over the three rounds and finished five strokes ahead of second place.
 
Marelda Ayal finished in 10th place with a card of 225 (+9). Brianna Maddux and Kristin Gudmundsdottir both finished in a four-way tie for 25th with two cards of 236 (+20). Jessica Osden finished her second round, after subbing in for Lauren Anderson on the second day, with a 77 (+5) and a total card of 155 (+11).
 
The Hillcats will now prepare to travel to Winter Garden, Fla. to compete in the National Championships at the Orange County National Golf Resort on May 21-25.
